Quiet Birthday Escape!
Zoetry Marigot Bay is a sweet little secret spot in St. Lucia! Our stay was wonderful. If you are looking for simple, peace and quiet in a serene, lush, green mountainous bay then you will be happy here. There is not a lot of night life here (some live music here and there) so if that is what you crave, then this will not be your jam. My sister and I stayed here for my 45th birthday celebration. We had a blast! We stayed in one of the suites that has a plunge pool and butler (I strongly suggest this upgrade!). The staff was amazing (butlers Rochelle, Sean, Neil are all the BEST), friendly, accommodating, and FUN! The bar tenders (Allison, Nigel, Gimel, Andre, Jonathan) were all AMAZING! The staff treated us well and wanted to be helpful. Sure there were tiny hiccups like a small water leak in our bathroom and the plunge pool didn't heat initially...but in the grand scheme of things.... were were in a gorgeous island (away from the snow!) with beautiful views, relaxing birds and scenery, and endless beverages flowing! The pool is a lot of fun too. If you want to get a sun chair, you do have to venture out kind of early to stake your spot. We typically got one pretty quick when people would leave for lunch etc. The pool bar buffet is AWESOME! Great sushi (shout out to Clare and Sunshine chefs!). We only did the sunset sail and the wine tasting for "excursions" as we felt content staying at the hotel. Both were a lot of fun. The suite we had was spacious with a full kitchen! The bed was comfy, the AC was perfect. I would say the one draw back is if you are a serious foodie, the food was inconsistent here. Sometimes you had a great meal and other times it would be not as great even at the same place. We were not impressed with 1461 restaurant although the soup and ambiance were great there. The Cove had great food and so did the pool lunch buffet. Hurricane Hole was good one night and then not great another night. Room service...especially breakfast was always good! Delicious coffee!!! House wines were delish! Overall, a great, quiet, serene, off the grid place to chillax. The one draw back is there are a lot of stairs. So if you are someone who can't do stairs, then it is not very accommodating to that. Also the drive from the airport is about an hour and they drive on the left side of the road. It is a windy, roller-coaster like drive so if you get car sick easily..... buckle up LOL! We had an amazing stay and I would definitely go back here. Thank you St. Lucia!

Fantastic holiday in a beautiful location
Had a fantastic holiday on our first time to the Caribbean. The hotel is in a beautiful location with great views of marigot bay. The food at the hotel was excellent and between all of the restaurants there was lots of choice. The staff at the hotel were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The pool bar staff deserve a shoutout, they worked so hard and were attentive especially Alison and Ronnie. We loved our day by the beach opposite the hotel, the kayaking was a lot of fun! I’d recommend this hotel if you’re after a relaxing holiday with great food.

The place to be in St. Lucia!
My husband and I stayed at Zoetry for 3 nights during the first half of our honeymoon and it truly was the most luxurious stay. Our butlers went above and beyond from morning to night to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. The food was absolutely delicious and having access to two different pool areas was perfect. It was truly a relaxing experience and the views were just incredible from our suite. We honestly wish we stayed longer and if we ever re-visit St. Lucia we will definitely be staying here again.

PLEASE SERVE HOT FOOD!
The hotel has a lovely outlook over a Marina with a nice walk down to some restaurants and a small beach. HAZARD WARNING. Before you are even allowed to look at your room you will be made to sign pages of waivers so that if you have a fall or accident at the property you will not be able to blame the hotel. The hotel is very poorly maintained and there are lots of “accidents waiting to happen”. Slippery stairs and stones, puddles that are never swept away around the pool, uneaven and loose flagstones, loose railings and botched up wood repairs (instead of replacing a rotten plank of wood they will use any old bit of wood and all of these are not the correct size leaving various sized gaps between the wood and some are not even screwed in. The hotel is very dirty. There is mold, algae, stained cushions and furniture, metal pieces sticking out, dirty glasses left around the pool overnight, tissues, toothpicks, pieces of pineapple all over the pool area, dirty pool cloudy and sand and dirt plus loose concrete inside the pool. Very easy to have an accident here. The rooms are small but most things worked and those that didn’t work most were put right immediately. There is a bath towel ration which is one towel to be shared between two people per day. In the evening there is a turndown service and they will collect the one towel and not leave you a replacement. You will have to either continually trek up and down to reception to ask for more towels, phone calls will be ignored or you have to get pool towels from the pool yourself. They also have an “hyatt” app but ignore every request. Great news! The pool is stocked up with fresh towels every day at 0500 am. So you will be able to get as many pool towels as you like for the room and plus book your favorite lounger by the pool. If you haven’t managed to do this by 6am it is “tough luck” as you will have to sit in your room. They have very few loungers and although there is room for more around the pool and also some grassy areas could use some loungers but they never provide them! No one is at the pool to help you and there is no pool service! You might even get lucky if you hang about around 10 am as usually the bar is not open or it is open but they are not ready to serve as they have no ice, the drinks are not ready and various other excuses including no bartender! The food. Very limited menus. The food is prepared mostly and brought to you. It is of a high standard but usually cold or luke warm. Especially the “American breakfast” with cold bacon and beans. Cold and soggy toast is also served. Your main course can take up to 2 hours to arrive but again it is usually cold or luke warm. So you will have to send it back and wait even longer! A lot of people develop a cough. I was included and do not know if it is due to the mold, dirt or air conditioning. Entertainment. They had a yoga session once during the week and aqua aerobics are also once during the week. There are no shows and the odd bit of live music. They have a screen indicating what is on during the day/evening but unfortunately this breaks down or has no power. I don’t think a penny has been spent on the hotel for years and years and years. It is in a dreadful state. The fridges are all rusted up at the bottom. And finally, CHECK YOUR BILL! If you are not all inclusive you will most probably be overcharged for meals and drinks. I found a charge on my bill for USD 1,034.00. When I queried it I was told that it was for a sunset cruise and mud bath. However I had not ordered this or even had one. Take care of yourself if you are staying at this hotel.
