Jan 18, 2025Pretty resort and laid back vacation!
Nice rooms, monkeys on the balcony each morning was pretty cool! Food was very good at each restaurant. Pretty resort, (a lot of walking as resort is sprawled out), not an accesible resort. Never felt crowded even though resort was close to capacity. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Tropical Resort
We arrived at Dreams Las for our wedding with very low expectations due to their most recent reviews. However we were quickly impressed with the resort, staff, and service! If you’re nervous about staying here just because of reviews, pay no attention! Oh, and the monkeys are pretty cool!

Perfect Costa Rican all-inclusive resort
Absolute A- grade resort with amazing staff! We did not have even a single hiccup with our stay at dreams Costa Rica. Above and beyond our expectations of an all-inclusive resort. Amazing food, beautiful property, multiple vibes in the various pools, absolutely awesome staff from the landscapers and house cleaners up to the front desk and restaurant staff- it was a pleasure to be around people who took such great pride in their day-to-day work. Highly recommend Dreams Costa Rica

Jan 16, 2025Beautiful but does have some flaws
We arrived with a welcoming staff. They take your bags and send you off with drinks and a personal concierge (preferred room) for a smooth check-in. They explained our additional perks for being preferred and gave us a small rundown of the area. I didn't like being pressured into trying to get a meeting for free stuff. We are there to relax and enjoy our vacation. When we said no, they room aura definitely shifted. Every day our phone would ring endlessly. We would have to take it off the hook to get it to stop. The food was subpar at best at most of the restaurants. The best one was Sushi or the rooms service. The pool and beach areas are beautiful, and you get great views from your rooms. The property is kind of hard to maneuver. Its fairly large and you can get turned around quickly. If you happen to be in the buildings by the beach its a trek back to the main building for dinner and entertainment and vice versa if you want pools or the beach and are located in the main building. They are constantly driving around on the guests paths with vehicles so you have to step aside or be run over. Their gift shop is WAY over priced. I needed a pair of flip flops and they were 40$+ for a pair of rubber ones you can buy for $1 anywhere else. We got the preferred room for the perks. It was supposed to include a private breakfast venue, the preferred lounge and preferred pool area. They NEVER checked if you were in an actual preferred room so paying the additional for the room was NOT worth it. We had people in the group using all the perks and paid way less than us. Weve stayed at many Dreams resorts prior and we've never experienced this part, which is why we always paid more for it. So I wouldn't recommend paying for the preferred room and just get a normal suite. I will say we have travelled a lot and my husband speaks Spanish and I do not. If i had not been with him it would have been slightly more difficult that traveling to Mexico or Dominician Republic. The majority of their staff was not bilingual. I will say they definitily know how to do Weddings. The wedding was absolutely beautiful and so smooth. So if you want to have your wedding here, its a great idea!

The room we have in block 6 is very nice and clean and away from the noise of the only bar available. Unless you are a PREFERRED GUEST and then you can use a bar at reception also after using the Portofino restaurant for breakfast on 3 occasions, today we were told we can NOT use that restaurant for breakfast anymore unless again you are a PREFERRED GUEST. Although the food is very nice in the restaurants the service is not so good. As an English guest on several occasions we have had to ask for a glass of wine while American guests are served instantly. Sun-beds as usual are being reserved by large groups of Americans who either don’t appear till midday to use them or not at all. Due to a conference at the hotel one of the pools was closed all day even though they didn’t use it until 4 o’clock in the afternoon. And guest were forced to go a long way round back to their rooms as 2 lots of stairs were blocked off. We still have another week of our holiday left hopefully it will improve as the hotel itself is very nice but at this point of our holiday THERE IS NO WAY WE WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO A FRIEND. 😩🙈
